Action on Wikipedia about Prop 2

First, one at the California Poultry Association (who opposes the proposition) added the anti-prop link to the entry.

A few edits later, user Tsr30 got their hands on the entry, adding negative legal ramifications described by industry publication Feedstuffs.

Then, user C4sf (acronym for Californians for Safe Food) made his or her sole edit, updating the description based on some newer summary that was erroneously labeled by C4sf as being part of the Voter's Guide. I'm confused?

After that, Marfire got in with their sole edit to elaborate on what Feedstuffs is.

Before I made this post, I imagined it was going to be a lot more exciting than it ended up being. Sorry y'all.

George

While browsing the news on Pitchfork, I noticed this story about Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio appearing in Jonathan Demme new film Rachel Getting Married with Anne Hathaway. I also noticed that there is nary a mention of Jump Tomorrow—the 2001 indie romcom starring Adebimpe that is essentially Rachel Getting Married only slightly quirkier, with a male protagonist, slightly less explicit. I actually saw Jump Tomorrow and it was decent but forgettable; however, this is Pitchfork, the infamously elite cultural mavens with a columnist that gave JT a 6.9, thus an omission is inexcusable.

Also, the trailer (embedded below) uses Rogue Wave’s 2005 cover of Buddy Holly’s 1958 kneeslap-and-celeste-laden (though, the band drops the celeste in favor of limited synth and Holly’s hushed, straightforward guitar work in favor of swelling and overlapping) classic “Everyday,” which of course was originally on the underrated soundtrack to the equally underrated game Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse. Anyways, I thought it was interesting that video game music is now adorning Oscar bait.

Yeah, it is very possible end up seeing this (and Last Chance Harvey, Joel Hopkins's follow-up to Jump Tomorrow).

Members of Californians for SAFE Food that are not actually in California

To preface, Californians for Safe Food is the organization opposing Proposition 2, a referendum on the November ballot to "prohibit the cruel confinement of farm animals in a manner that does not allow them to tum around freely, lie down, stand up, and fully extend their limbs."
